Colombian brands participate in Sourcing at Magic digital

Hand in hand with ProColombia, 12 brands from the Colombian fashion sector are participating in the Sourcing at Magic fair, which is being held virtually until May 1, according to reports from the promotion body.

Among the prominent firms that are taking part in this online event are Fokus Green, with a proposal for high-end sustainable fashion and recycling technologies. In addition, Greentex participates that brings supplies, textiles and clothing both in PFP, blank, and digitally printed, using ecological printing without water. There is also the traditional Lafayette, who with its trajectory in sustainable development is offering recycled polyester based on pet bottles, eco-friendly digital printing, with zero water consumption and zero carbon dioxide emissions. And the firm Tejidos Gulfer, another of the companies committed to responsible production that works with environmentally friendly solvents and processes the water after using it in dyeing to make it clean.

We are proud of the participation of our designers in the most important fashion fairs in the world, with proposals of high social commitment, sustainability and responsibility with the environment. In 2020, Colombian textile exports reached 129.5 million dollars, landing in 56 countries. Among them, Ecuador; Mexico; Brazil; The United States and Peru represented 78.89 percent of the participation.
